The most awesome holiday of my life was when I went camping round Zimbabwe with some mates of mine.

There were 2 big dares that everyone had to do.

The first was bungee jump off the bridge at Vic Falls (which at the time was the highest bungee jump in the world, at 110m).

The second seems much easier to do, but I still have nightmares about it. We were staying on a houseboat on Lake Kariba, which is renowned for the crocs and hippos - in fact, we saw quite a few crocs sunning themselves on the banks of the lake.

Apparently, crocs are attracted by shiny objects. So the dare was to strip down naked, and then tie a piece of tinfoil around our schlong before jumping in the lake and taking a five minute swim around the boat, in the midday sun.
Nothing happened, but I still can't believe I did it.
