My little girl was reaching that inquisitive stage, and wanted to know why people thought that she looked like her father.

So I sat her down and tried to explain, as best I could to a 4-year-old, about genes and how they are passed on when babies are made, etc etc.

She seemed to be taking it all in, nodding slowly as we went along.
Then when we had finished our lesson on genes, she eagerly ran to find her father.
"Daddy, Daddy" she bubbled as she ran up to him "I'm so glad I've got your denims!"
