A colleague was giving a team-building presentation about Formula One racing, and how everyone in the team has to work together for them to win the race. She was talking about the guys who have to predict the right tyres for the imminent weather conditions. "If they expect rain, they need tyres that will stick to the road in the wet conditions and give good grip. If they expect dry conditions, they need hard tyres that won't stick too much and slow the car down." Always full of questions, I asked without thinking, "In case they cannot predict the weather conditions, have they invented something that is both hard and sticky at the same time?". Everyone packed up laughing. I swear this is a true story.
